so mike was the first to say skeksis from the dark crystal and many of you echoed that. so here are a couple pics for your edification and amusement, to compare and contrast...
yeah it does facially look more like the mystics, but i saw the way the tail and the rest of the body and thought of one of the skeksis though. being that both creatures are of each other though, if ya wanna be technical hehe, it could be both or either. =)
Man, I went and googled "Russian creature" looking for other news on this Urskek-y thing and, not only were there a couple other angles, but tons of other hits including some footage of something that may or may not have been a giant Triops. Freaky. I think I might have pooped myself if it wiggled it's little...legs? pods?...at me and flipped around like that...
