okay...
hope everyone had a great weekend!
lots to talk about but i'm putting alla that aside to getcha all to head on over to ifanboy.com for a truly wonderful and heartfelt tribute that connor and ron put together for mike, with interviews and input from such luminaries as our pal, augie de blieck (jr.) from augie's pipeline over at comic book resources, marvel editor extraordinnaire, tom brevoort, and, well...me. it's a real celebration of mike as a person, as an artist, and as an honest-to-God comic book icon!

Todd,
ReplyDeleteDownloading it now. I'll have to wait till I get home to watch. It's good see the rememberances of Mike still rolling out.
Peeped the cast this morning after Mafus directed me there. Excellent memories and surprises. Luck on the Tellos jam issues and the movies.
ReplyDeleteNice looking little office you've got there, too.
Hey Todd!
ReplyDeleteI saw this on Mafus' page. I plan on watching it later on when I get home tonight. It sounds like it will be something very nice to sit down to.
Just finished watching the video. Great retrospective of Mike's work.
ReplyDeleteThat was great. A nice comprehensive review of Mike's work. Very tasteful. And well rounded.
ReplyDeleteAnd Todd you were a good testimonial giver.
Ok finally got to watch the podcast Todd. Very well done I must say. And it was great getting to hear about Tellos things in the works. Hopefully things push ahead and everything gets to work out with it!
ReplyDeleteTodd and I were talking about this and I mentioned that it's impossible to NOT like someone named, "Augie". That's a name that the little neighborhood kid with the backwards baseball cap and too-big dungarees would have. Doesn't hurt that he's a great guy with an awesome radio voice. Just read his article on Marvel's DCU and it's (to use a word someone named Augie might use)...swell.
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff Todd and good to hear that Tellos will live on both on the page and, hopefully, the silver screen because . . .
ReplyDelete. . . Mike would have wanted it that way. ; )
Already heard about the pcast from mafus. Will check it out today.
ReplyDeleteLater.
