okay...
so this is the third time i've attempted to write this blog today.
first at 6:151 this morning, and then again at about 3:30 this afternoon.
each time i got all done with it, but in closing another window on my screen, lost safari as well and this post completely. hopefully this time will be better...
and what i'd said was; not much to say this week.
quiet week.
cold week.
no word from dark horse about the sales figures on perhapanauts: second chances or whether they will green light us for a third installment. craig and i are working on the third outing anyway--you really couldn't stop us--so there will definitely be more 'haps--just not sure when or from where...
i've been working on the play and learning my lines.
here's the poster again, with craig's layout and lettering added. thanks, c!
i'm on my way this weekend to see craig and trish and johnny and ozzie and finally get a chance to meet that new baby girl, the cat! can't wait! and can't wait to have a chance to hang without having a convention all aorund us!
so with nothing much to say, here are a few "random pictures of the week" as well as a double-sized, hopefully twice-as-fun, "five on friday". it's the first lines to some (hopefully) popular songs and we're looking for the song title and the artist who sang it.
have fun!
"five on friday"
1. a long long time ago, i can still remember…
2. one day gonna take a ride on the n train down to coney island…
3. they see me mowin’ my front lawn…
4. the legend lives on from the chippawa on down…
5. girl, ya know we’ve been together for such a long long time…
6. mama, just killed a man…
7. oh yeah, i’ll tell you something i think you’ll understand…
8. well, my daddy left home when i was three…
9. guess who just got back today them wild-eyed boys that’d been away…
10. i never knew, i never knew that everything was fallin’ through…
have a great weekend!

Well, I only recognize three of those (Queen, Johnny Cash & Thin Lizzy) so I'm not really going to even try. I'm horrible with lyrics without the music... :(
Yeah, I only know two, the Queen and the Thin Lizzy, so put me down for an I surrender as well.
As for the poster, it looks great. Those friends of yours, Cardy and Rousseau, are a talented two-some. The show sounds great, just wish it didn't conflict with the big eight-oh for papa mulcahy.
As for the 'Haps, thanks for making the commitment to do more and I think this Spring will see good things for the boys and girls from Bedlam what with the second trade coming out and the added exposure to the DeZago brand from the release of the Tellos super deluxe hard cover.
Have a great week-end.
REALLY REALLY hope that there are more 'Haps in the future, beyond the 3rd series. I'm really diggin the whole thing, from the art to the writing and the great way the stories tie together with the cliffhangers.
Great to see the entire poster.
Hmmm...

5. Dick in a Box - Justin Timberlake (just saw the vid today)
6. Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen

8. ???
9. Boys are back in Town - Thin Lizzy
10. ???

Well, I googled the three no one has seemed to have answered yet, and we should all be embarrassed about not getting #7... Maybe if it was printed like this, it would be easier:
oh yeah,
i’ll tell you something
i think you’ll understand…
I'm embarrassed, anyway...
Oh yeah, that would have given me a big "hand" in getting that one.
I should have had that one, just threw me for a curve.
