warren's report from heroescon!

okay...

just because i wasn't there doesn't mean i don't have something for you from last week's heroescon!
our pal--and ace reporter--warren newsom sent me a passel of pictures showing all the gang having fun and rockin' the weekend! (see--i told you guys you didn't need me there...)

here they are in no apparent order...

suzanne and matt at the RINGO Scholarship table--miss you guys!

our generous photojournalist and winning artist of the perhapanauts three page challenge a few months back, warren newsom, with amber atoms writer/artist/creator kelly yates

matt, craig, and kelly

i, too, love looking over the shoulders of my favorite artists when i can to watch the magic happen. here, warren gets a shot of our pal--and boothboy extraordinaire--brian doing just that.

another angle where we can see old friends chris kemple and rich case! hi, guys!

for the past few months craig (and matt and suzanne and etc...) have 'gently' been trying to guilt me about missing this summer's conventions. here, one of my besties sends a heartfelt message...
miss you too, mark.

warren did manage to get a couple costumes for us--here's red skull, rogue, and captain america!

hey!?! howcum red skull gets a kiss?!? he's a freakin' nazi super-villain!

thanks, warren! great job!
have a great wednesday, everybody!
smell ya later!

You certainly were missed, Todd, even more than the Choopie Butt Cards, at the show.

Perhaps you'll feel the itch come August and head on down to Baltimore for some Crabs and Comics.

As for Rogue kissing Red Skull, she's not being nice, she's stealing his powers. ;-)

It was a fun convention this year. It was nice hanging out with Matt and Suzanne. And Ron Garney - who sat beside them - is a NUT!

And not to guilt you, Todd, but we all really did miss you. A fun time would have been even funner with you there. :)

man looks like a great time!

i too love to watch artists make their magic. it's so cool seeing how each person does things and how they approach a subject.

i think you need to reconsider baltimore =P

Darn it, Todd! It wasn't the same without you! You're going to Baltimore if we have to drag you there.

We missed Mark too. And he was there. We saw him for about 30 seconds in the elevator before he zipped off with some BOOMers to dinner.

Yes, Ron IS a nut. Good god, that man is funny.

Those pictures have driven home the point that I have gained waaay too much weight. WW, here I come. And I don't mean Wonder Woman. Yeesh.

We missed you (and Leanne and Rod). We have talked about going to Baltimore to break up the long gap between Heroescon each year... I think we may have to make Baltimore a go this year especially if we knew we could get our annual dose of Todd.

Brian totally hit on my sentiments...It was like there was a whole in the Con, very similar to the Choopie Butt card, but without the actual Choopie Butt...
