my/our dear friend, wendy, sent this over last night.
in the first photo, she and her son were trying to get a picture of the spectacular sunset through the woods off the back of their porch in connecticut.
in the second...something was...there...
then, wendy's brother, an artist when it comes to photo editing, did this...
this other ghostly photo was sent to me a few weeks ago by our new colorist pal, chris summers--see chris' awesome color work on jason copland's story "evaluation" in perhapanauts 5!! chris went on an honest to goodness ghost hunt at a nearby haunted fort down in his part of texas. he said that he and his friends snapped off a bunch of photos arbitrarily and didn't see this ghostly mist until they got home and studied their pics! sweeet!
and before you say it; in each case i asked if there was a possibility that what we were seeing was the photographer's breath. chris said that it was much too warm for that and wendy said that she thought so too and also wondered if it wouldn't have also appeared in any of the five other photos they took...
and here are the answers to
our chain reaction
"five for friday!"
smell ya later!
