eric henson makes the (casting ) call~!

okay...

it's been a couple years or so since we last took a pass at casting the inevitable perhapanauts movie, but our newest perhapa-pal--and haps artist--eric henson, set his mind to the task a week or so ago and conjured up this impressive list of his picks!

thanks for these, eric--they're great! and i'd go with each and every one of them...(although i'm still holding out to voice choopie myself...!)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
and now, because
you've been so good...
"five for friday!"
1. what do the A, T, and T, stand for in AT&T?
2. what candy bar was named after a beloved horse owned by the mars family?
3. what is the term used to describe the niche of science fiction that takes place in the mid- to late 1800s?
4. thomas edison invented the phonograph, but never intended for it to do what it did. he was trying to create a machine that would do what...?
5. in music...
a. who's got the "nuclear boots and the drip-dry gloves"...?
b. who "blew out my flip flop, stepped on a pop top, cut my heel, had to cruise on back home"?
c. ...and where did that happen...?
d. who "picks up the rice at the church where a wedding has been"?
e. "yeah, i'm sorry i can't afford a ferrari, but that don't mean i can't get you there. guess he's an xbox, and i'm more ____________"?
that's it for me!
happy weekend!
smell ya later!
I'd say Eric's choices are pretty much spot on.
As for the Fiver:
1) Atlantic Telecom and Taffy, of course
2) Good ol' Whatchamacallit
3) Steampunk
4) Steal Ariel's voice
5a) Mozart
5b) Jimmy Buffet
5c) Margaritaville
5d) Eleanor Rigby
5e) Atari 2600
Sorry about the repost. I had too many correct answers.
Dead-on casting. Except I would cast Avery Brooks as Big's voice. I just heard him narrating something on the History Channel and...wow.
4. STEAL YOUR SOUL!!! They pygmies were right!
5d. Dracula. He can't help himself. He has to pick up every grain. And count them accurately. Or he has to start over. Stupid Dracula.
5a My best friend's girlfriend. Also, when she bites her lip, it's some reaction to love.
And I didn't have to cheat. Knew it.
*is still mad that disco group, Taste of Honey, got the best new artist Grammy over the Cars*
