Sucks about the cold, Todd. I'm the same way with these bootleg sinuses of mine. Slightest deviation in humidity and I'm hacking and dripping. (That's sounds even worse than it is.)

On to the Fiver:

1- No idea. Though I probably should.

2- Same as 1.

3- Geography (blue), Sports & Leisure (orange), Arts & Entertainment (pink), Science & Nature (green), History (brown), Literature (yellow). I think I may be off on the last two though.

4- 3 that I know of: Hopkins, the lad in Hannibal Rising and (I should know his name) from Manhunter.

5- a) Dunno b) The Pips c) Blackhearts? d) Heartbreakers e) The Mechanics

I hope you feel better soon. Lexie's been coughing and sniffling all week. Luckily for some unknown reason I seem to be immune to the germs. But this flaky weather is hell on the immune system. I'm sure I'll be under the weather soon enough.

Hope you feel better Todd and I love the doggie photo even though I'm a cat guy.

1. Jeeves and Wooster

2. Same guy as in the TV show. I can picture him, but I cannot remember his name. (N.B. In looking up the answer to satisfy my curiosity, I came across this fun fact. In Richard Hooker's series of M*A*S*H novels after he leaves the army Radar becomes a multimillionaire tycoon by parlaying a chain of fast food Irish stew parlors into the "ROR Corporation".

3. Sports, History, Arts & Entertaintment, Literature, Science and Nature and Geography

4. Three

5.

b. The Pips

c. Black Hearts

d. Heartbreakers

e. The Mechanics

Just recently picked up "Jeeves and Wooster" and plan to watch it soon for the first time; I hope it's as good as I keep hearing!

1. No idea. I can't stand British TV. Except...wait for it...Michelle Ryan.

2. Gary Burgough. (Spelling?) Only returning cast member on the TV show.

3. You got me.

4. I'll guess four. Brian Cox in MANHUNTER. Anthony Hopkins in LAMBS, HANNIBAL, RED DRAGON and RISING (didn't he do a framing sequence?) and I would guess 2 actors as a boy and a teenage Hannibal in RISING>

5. a. Miracles b. Pips c. Blackhearts d. Heartbreakers e. Mechanics

By the way, when I said I couldn't stand British TV, I was joking. I just don't get the comedic stuff the way Todd and Craig do.

i'm not sure exactly where each of the dog pics came from, so maybe...
i got those two--and a bunch more--from my friend, heather, along with a buncha really great quotes about dogs. my favorite one was;

"If you think dogs can't count, try putting three dog biscuits in your pocket and then give him only two of them."
