more chupacabra fun!

okay...

in one of my breaks from work the other day, i jumped over to ebay to see what i might see. i've picked up a few very nice items recently--that two-issue captain america special edition set from 1984 reprinting the sterenko issues, a beat up copy of a book that i cherished in high school, roger dean's views (dean was the album cover artist for yes), a couple long lost cd's, and a pantload of dvd's; the mothman prophesies (though i'd like to see them film the actual book, the movie was eerie--and has the best jump scene of the past ten years...!), robot chicken season one, and, 'cause leaf gave it such a nice write up over on his blog, the zombies can be pets film, fido.

of course, as i am wont to do, i searched chupacabra and saw this way cool, one of a kind, chupacabra model/figure and thought i'd post the cool photos. and here's the item description too.
i guess that's okay...right?

That's a cool figure. Looks like Choopie's alternate reality cousin from Battleworld.

Todd-
Sounds like you got yourself some pretty cool loot.
Roger Dean's art is way cool.

Like the Chupacabra figure.
I don't care too much for the look of the head, though. Looks kinda insect-like.

Yeah, I'm rather dubious about the model's "museum quality" as it looks like a mish-mash of made and found items. Still, if one of those things came running down the hall at me, I'm pretty sure my bladder would let loose.

Nice little eBay score there, Todd. Hopefully, my FIDO review won't let you down.

Hard to picture THAT chupacabra as a cute and cuddly plush doll. ; ).

Very cool but I like Craig's design MUCH better. That thing looks more like something I found in the beer cooler at the grocery store I worked at in high school. Eww.

Nice pick-ups on the 'bay Todd! I personally spend WAY too much time and money on there. I'm always trying to pick up original artwork whenever I can, but now I've hit my limit cuz I have nowhere to put some of it! The Chupacabra figure is pretty cool, but not for how much it went for. I agree it looks like a few things just slapped together(in a decently done job)

Heywood, I'm with ya, buddy! I had to take a year off because I was buying things I didn't even want because I was just there for the thrill of the bidding war. Now I only go there when I have something specific I'm looking for. That place is dangerous!

Seems you can only find beat up copies of VIEWS. The one I got is nice inside but the cover looks like it went through HECK.
I searched for that book forever, since I had the follow up book MAGNETIC STORM I bought back in high school. Awesome stuff between those covers.

I can't quite figure out what toy makes up the most of the Choopies body. Decent job but not worth the price it went for.

Hi! I could have sworn I've been to this web site before but
after browsing through some of the articles I realized it's new to me.

Hey there! I know this is sort of off-topic however
I had to ask. Does managing a well-established website like yours require a lot
of work? I'm completely new to writing a blog but I do write in my diary everyday.
I'd like to start a blog so I can easily share my own experience and feelings online.
Please let me know if you have any recommendations or tips for brand new aspiring bloggers.
Thankyou!

The other day, while I was at work, my cousin stole my iphone and tested to
see if it can survive a 25 foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation. My apple ipad is now destroyed and she has 83 views.
I know this is totally off topic but I had to share it with someone!
