hope everyone had a very happy easter!

(unable to get it to post over on the message boards, i thought it would look nice right here on the blog until i can figure out how to post it with the rest...) (as i did with my own feeble entries which can see seen down at the bottom...)
nice job, lexie! thanks so much for taking the time to draw the merrow!

Ooooh, Zip-a-tone! Cool, Todd! I haven't seen much of that lately. Sad, really, as I have a whole box of shading film.

You should really draw more. I'd love to see you draw a short Choopie story.

Best,
Rich

haha that's an awesome job, both Lexie and yours! I love it when kids draw, whether it's their own design or another's. Her Merrow came out better than mine haha. I still have to do the finished piece tonight.

I like your Big and Choopie though, the zip-a-tone is great! And on the background of the aswang, did you just take charcoal to it, or just a regular pencil?

I second that you should draw more, so try to work that into your schedule ok? haha

great work, guys - and lexie, i love merrow's setting.

since the motion's been seconded, and i doubt there will be any debate, let's just skip to the vote - i vote aye - todd should draw more and a choopie short sounds great. :-)

That's one scary aswang, Todd.

As for a Choopie back-up story, If Todd gets to draw it, than it's only fair that Craig gets to write it.

Nice job Todd. I like your take on the characters.

Yeah. It seems to come fairly easy to her.. but then I give her a hard time about stuff too. It helps her improve though. Kind of like with skating and I certainly can't do that better.

Brian, you made me laugh! That's a great idea!

Both of those drawings look great.

Todd it's unanimous. We've voted and you're drawing more. Isn't it so much nicer when the decision is taken out of your hands? ;)

Todd-
I had read somewhere that you could draw, now the 'proof is in the pudding'.

Hey Rene, tell Lexie her Merrow rocks.

Later.

Nice work Todd. And yes, you should draw more pin-ups. They're great.
