Loved the timing on the head slaps.

As for Hank, knowing the current population of Che Todd and Sharon, I knew this day was coming, just wished that it was a few more years off.

Hank, it was a pleasure to get to know you through these cards and we'll see you on the other side of the rainbow bridge.

I second Brian's thoughts. I was laughing at the great card and then saw that and it hit like a punch in the gut.

sorry.

i love re-visiting these old cards and they have certainly brought back some absolutely great memories--and, of course, a few sad ones. sorry if i've been maybe too personal with what was going on in my life at the time.
the sad/funny part is that, though these cards came out over a period of twenty years, you're all seeing them over the course of twenty days.
we were lucky enough to have hank in our lives for 9 years--almost twice the life expectancy of a netherland dwarf! he was such a great guy and i can still remember his smell and how soft and smooth his fur was, how small and weightless he seemed and he loved to be held and stroked from nose to tail, how he loved to sniff at my mouth to figure out what i had eaten...and how incredibly powerful his back legs were ad the one time he kicked me in the crotch when jake had startled him.
he was such a big part of my life and he had a very long and happy life. you all only met him 9 days ago and now he's already gone.
sorry.

Oh, man! Don't apologize! I've loved reading these entries and finding out all the stuff we didn't know about you. Well, that I didn't know about you. But, all these entries and I still don't know...

Boxers or briefs?

Todd,

I said I'd chime in when I saw the first card I received. Well, I think you probably sent me at least one or two previous ones, but I definitely KNOW I have this one. I'll never forget that pun... and still love it!

Hank was an awesome bunny, and it was so funny how he'd tease Jake. I never knew a rabbit could have such personality... and I actually had a rabbit of my own at one time.

I'm hoping that all this build up means there will be a new card this year. But, y'know, no pressure or anything. ;-)

Best,
Rich
